We got the house! Yes, we did get the contract and we have been making plans since yesterday, figuring out all the things that we are going to do with it.

First things first, we are closing on the 22nd, which means that we have to get our butts going with the rest of the packing. Luckily, most of the packing has been done and the bulk of our belongings is in storage. The only stuff leftover is the bare essencials, but that's usually a lot of work anyway.

Oh, and this time, professional movers, thank you very much. Our friends will be grateful. They've already helped us pack and move out most of the stuff prior to listing the house. We like our friends.

Anyway, those are the news so far. We have started looking for new appliances since that's the first thing we are going to replace, besides some of the windows. And because we are planning on gutting the kitchen and remodeling the whole thing, whatever we buy must match the scheme.

Contractors, and workers and dust again. Can't wait!
